Shown above are works from my first semester 2-D design class. This particular project's assignment was to create patterns which focus on the relationship between positive and negative space. We created each pattern by scanning a previously made ink drawing into photoshop and repeating the image using translation, reflection and rotation. 

This project was created from photographs that we took around Philadelphia. Our assignment was to cut and insert these images in an abstract collage that would show movement through the composition.
