You know little about me so I guess here is where I tell you in a nutshell. I'm an incoming freshman and planning on majoring in crafts, specificaly fibers. My mind thinks faster than my mouth, I'm sorry for the incovience.

The artwork I make is all about “the process.”  It is about what emotions are felt during and after the piece is made, because it is not only a tangible item that you are molding. My favored mediums are acrylic paint and fibers because they are able to hold their integrity but also be manipulated in a unique way. Recently I’ve become very interested in stitching nontraditional items to items such as paper towels and tissues. Finding new and unexpected ways to use materials or to graphically alter a subject is what I love to do. Overall I think that not being afraid to try different things and experiment with non-conventional processes.
