Julia Bianchi 

CAMD Major, Class of 2020

Looking to go into Illustration in my sophomore year

 

Background 

    • Born In NYC. Lived in Manhattan for my whole life so far, specifically Greenwich Village.
      •  Graduated from "The Fame School" Fiorello H. LaGuardia Highschool of Art and performing Arts, where I was an visual arts major. I was lucky enough to be a part of one of the elite Senior Art Shows this past winter, where my work was shown, along with some extremely talented peers. (Including the grand-neice of Andy Warhol.) 
    • Recently I had a piece featured at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC, as part of their Scholastic Scholarship Program. 
    • I use Colored Pencils, Ink, and Watercolor for most of my work, but digital pieces are usually done in Paint Tool Sai or Photoshop 5.
    • My mother was a graphic designer, who graduated with an Art History degree from BU, and my father was a performing arts major at Tufts. My Grandfather was an architect who worked on Lincoln Center, and my Grandma graduated from Pratt as the only female in their Graphic Design Program.
