I am currently working toward a Master's Degree in Art Education at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, with a concentration in educational media.  My thesis topic focuses on the unique qualities that students of the Net Generation, how they differ from previous cohorts, and the ways in which art educators can accommodate their learning preferences.

I've created several blogs that touch upon this subject -

In-Form is a compilation of sites and resources that may be useful to other teachers exploring the tools of Web 2.0, and in developing ways in which to reach Net Generation students. - http://inform7.blogspot.com/

Dream Country has examples of lesson plans that utilize the web as a teaching tool. - http://dreamcountry7.blogspot.com/

In addition I have been working as a graduate assistant. I have assisted in distance learning classes, and have build the University of the Arts Educational Media Center in the virtual world of Second Life. The center features an art gallery, a fully functional virtual classroom, a building platform and a number of places to gather and collaborate.
