This project we had to focus on a journey and mapping of sorts. I deicded to take it more litterally and use my many trips to Ireland. Most of my family lives in Ireland and I plotted where I had been on a map. While the background is the steps to a traditoinal irish dance I do with my family, The Seige of Ennis. This is my first attempt at abstract art and I am pretty pleased with it.

I call it Where I Reside.

For with project we had to oncorperate an item we found in an antique shop. I found  a film projecter to represent time. These are a seris of images of me and and my best friend through all of my childhood. We are no long friends and I used to countdown to represent the abroub and certain end.

This first project is called Drop. It represents personal growth and leaving the past behind. I came up with that idea after studying Christian Boltanski and his many works that have to do with the death of a past life.
